email disease
I could spend the whole day simply answering and writing email. What a waste. I'm from the generation that feels a phone call settles things in a fraction of the time that spending time with 'fidgety' tech. like IM and email can.
Even worse I am on a project that the members insist on cc'ing every bit of communication to the group as a whole. As most is irrelevant to me it becomes noise, noise that I must pay attention to at risk of missing the signal.

i feel your pain and know exactly what you are saying.
i prefer to handle projects by phone as well and the constant cc'ing of every detail -- urgh! don't get me started.
